Hey Everyone,
I'm Alex, and I figure you probably know that, since you clicked on this blog to begin with. I'm 18, a freshman here at Luther, and originally I'm from Rothschild/Wausau, Wisconsin. And right now I'm doing what I happen to do best, procrastinating. I wrote a list of things to do, including this blog, at about 3:30 this afternoon. Now it's about 12:30 in the morning, I've finished all my homework, and I decided I would give this blogging thing a try. Bear with me as I try and figure the program out.
Anyway, I'm supposed to be introducing myself, but I'm really not sure what to say. I mean, there's a little box right next to a picture of me with all the little tidbits of info that sum up what I do, but I'll give it a shot. I'm your pretty average guy, I go to class, hang out with my friends, get pretty decent grades. I guess one thing that you're going to come across a lot as time goes by on this blog is my love for music. Music is a big part of me, it's a passion and as of right now, what I'm basing my future on. I'm a singer, and I sing in the Freshmen Men's Choir (Go Norsemen!) and in our guys acapella group Undeclared. I also am big into sports and other athletic events, and I love watching movies.
You know what? It's really hard to tell people about yourself and not sound like an idiot, which I'm pretty sure I've accomplished by now and I apologize--haha. Anyway, I'm hoping you'll stop by the blog every once in awhile and you'll maybe get an idea of who I am, without me making a fool of myself trying to tell you. And hopefully you'll get an idea of what it can be like to be a freshman here at Luther.
Well I hate to leave, but I've got class in the morning, and I've still got to send some emails, so I'll check back in soon.
Alex
p.s. The title of the blog? The song I'm listening to when I begin the blog. I figured, I love music, maybe some of you will know the songs, and it's a lot easier than thinking of some witty title that wraps up my thoughts.
